Glen G. Mastroberte is an attorney in Stroock's entertainment
department. He has a wide-ranging transactional entertainment practice
representing producers, directors, writers, actors, production
companies, distribution companies, film funds, financial institutions,
and equity investors in all aspects of motion picture and television
transactions at both the studio and independent level.
Prior to joining Stroock in 2007, Mr. Mastroberte was an attorney in the London and Los Angeles offices of an international law firm where he had a diverse corporate practice, focusing on private equity transactions, leveraged buyouts, and mergers & acquisitions, including many cross-border and international transactions.
Mr. Mastroberte has also held positions with a 9th Circuit Court of Appeals judge and with U.S. Senator John S. McCain. In addition, he was a founder of the Karatu School Project Organization, a non-profit organization established to raise funds for neglected African schools.
Mr. Mastroberte received a bachelor in science, magna cum laude, from the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona. Following graduation, and after working for several years in international finance in Europe, South America and Asia, he relocated to Los Angeles where he received his Juris Doctor, Order of the Coif, from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law. Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Mastroberte returned to Europe where he practiced international corporate law in London and received his Masters in Finance from the London Business School. He was recently selected to Variety's "Hollywood Law: Up Next" list of the top up-and-coming entertainment attorneys.
