Cardiff (England), July 16 (Ians) Wales captain Aaron Ramsey has completed a sensational return to Cardiff City Fc on a two-year deal.
The midfielder’s arrival at Cardiff came after Nice had earlier confirmed that Ramsey had left the French club by mutual agreement. A three-time Emirates Fa Cup winner, the 32-year-old re-joins City for a third spell with the Club.
“It feels unbelievable to finally be back here. I always thought one day I’d come back, and now it’s the perfect time to do that. To be back with my family and around familiar faces is just brilliant, so I’m delighted to be back here now. I’ve missed that a lot in the last year or so, so it was important for me to be back around them,” said Aaron.
“Obviously I’m a Cardiff City fan, and watching them over the years since I’ve been away,...

Doha, Nov 30 (Ians) Wales coach Robert Page insisted he was proud of his players despite a 3-0 defeat to England on Tuesday night, which sent them home from their first World Cup in 64 years with two defeats and a draw.
Wales were never really in the game that England won with two goals from Marcus Rashford and one from Phil Foden to give Page’s men a disappointing end.
“It’s an amazing performance from that group to get here,” Page said, reports Xinhua.
“I told everyone including the staff what an achievement it was to get here and the fans were amazing. We are frustrated that maybe we didn’t do all that we wanted, but we have had a taste of it and we want to experience it again,” said the coach.
Page admitted he was frustrated that England’s quick-fire goals undid his side’s good defensive work from the first half.

Rome, March 22 (Ians) Juventus's hopes of winning the Serie A title took a major hit after a morale-sapping 1-0 home defeat to Benevento, as Arthur Melo's howler allowed the newly-promoted side to leave Allianz Stadium with all three points.
It was the second time that Juve dropped points against Filippo Inzaghi's side this season, after they played out a 1-1 draw earlier in the season, Xinhua news agency reported.
With Paulo Dybala, Aaron Ramsey and Alex Sandro injured, Federico Bernardeschi started at left-back, while Cristiano Ronaldo partnered Alvaro Morata upfront during the game on Sunday.
Juve dominated possession from the beginning but failed to break down a compact Benevento defense, with an effort from Ronaldo chalked off after the Portuguese had wandered offside in the build-up.

Rome, Feb 28 (Ians) Cristiano Ronaldo's 19th Serie A goal for Juventus this season was not enough as Hellas Verona battled back to neutralize the Bianconeri for one point. Juventus made the trip to Bentegodi with a host of absentees, which meant head coach Andrea Pirlo had to call up several youngsters.
After a goalless first half on Saturday, Juve broke the deadlock straight after the interval, when Federico Chiesa moved into the box and squared for unmarked Ronaldo to finish with a daisy-cutter, Xinhua news reports.
Juve had the chance to double the lead on the hour mark, but Aaron Ramsey's rocket was denied by the goalkeeper.
Verona scored the equalizer in the 77th minute as Antonin Barak out-jumped Alex Sandro to steer in a header from close range.
The home side was close to turning the game around, as Darko Lazovic's attempt forced a one-handed save out of Wojciech Szczesny.

Rome, Feb 3 (Ians) Cristiano Ronaldo's double helped Juventus rally to beat Inter Milan 2-1 in the first leg of the Coppa Italia semi-finals.
With Romelu Lukaku suspended, Inter on Tuesday opted for Alexis Sanchez to partner Lautaro Martinez up front, while Juventus visited the San Siro without Paulo Dybala and Aaron Ramsey, and Gianluigi Buffon started between the sticks to mark his 1,000th professional game, reports Xinhua news agency.
Inter made a dream start through a counter-attack after just eight minutes, as Nicolo Barella burst down the right and squared for Martinez to finish with a first-time strike.
The Bianconeri got back on level terms in the 23rd minute as Juan Cuadrado was dragged down by Ashley Young. The referee awarded Juventus a penalty after viewing the Var, and Ronaldo kept his composure to convert it.
