After his star-studded roles in other superhero and action franchises, including his long-term work as Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the latest addition as Dr. Dementus in the Mad Max lore, Chris Hemsworth, seems to be all set to jump into his next big project. What’s more, his next role may reportedly be in a collision movie of two of the biggest action franchises of all time.

According to exclusive reports, Hemsworth is being eyed to star in a crossover movie of multi-billionaire G.I. Joe and Transformers franchises. But as much as this is a piece of fantastic news for all of his fans out there, Peter Cullen fans don’t seem to be all too happy about it. And, if anything, their anger just may be over nothing if these reports turn out to be true.

Smosh Games, the gaming channel launched by the long-running digital comedy brand Smosh on YouTube in 2012, is coming to Twitch.
The Smosh Games Twitch channel, which has already racked up 57,000 followers ahead of its first stream on Sept. 2 at 3 pm Et, will be home to three weekly series at launch. Shows will drop every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Despite its name, Smosh Games tends to feature non-video game games -- with challenges and reactions abounding -- and thus, its Twitch presence will follow suit.
First, Board Af Live is a tabletop and card game competition series that first launched on YouTube, but is being reformatted as a live iteration on Twitch. Hosted by Matt Raub and featuring a rotating cast of Smosh talent and guest stars, the show will enable audience participation via bits and subscriptions -- which are ways for viewers to financially support creators on Twitch.

Our long national nightmare is over. Finally, last week, the wait has ended. That's right, fans, hosts Staci Layne Wilson and Matt Raub are back with season 2 episode 2 of their internet series This Week In Horror.
Earlier this summer they gave us a sneak peek season opener starring Cassandra Peterson of Elvira fame, but now they're back (hopefully on a more regular basis) and bringing us an episode devoted to the unsung heroes of Hollywood: The Men In Suits.
This week go "Behind the Masks" with guests Doug Jones, Douglas Tait, and director Frank H. Woodward. Remember, this is about as close to a horrorcentric "Inside the Actor's Studio" as we're going to get, so don't miss it.
Check out the episode below and make sure to bookmark This Week in Horror on YouTube and follow them on Twitter.

This Week In Horror (hosted by Staci Layne Wilson and Matt Raub)
Okay, we’re never going to get to see a full hour of Robert Englund being interviewed by James Lipton on Inside The Actor’S Studio and we’ll be lucky to get even a walk on appearance by Jeffrey Combs on David Letterman, but what we do get is a little show online called This Week In Horror.
Whether you watch it on iTunes (video here, audio here) or on YouTube, this little chat-fest is as habit forming as it gets.
Informal to the point of being amateurish, this underproduced talk show is so damn refreshing in that it doesn’t rely on flashy editing or bombastic music cues to do its job. Maybe it’s the mid-life crisis setting in but I’m pretty tired of both those blasted kids playing...

With 11 11 11 happily spinning in the hype wheel, it's easy to forget that Darren Bousman has yet another numerically themed horror flick in the works ... a little movie called Ninety whose premise is simple ... 90 kills in a 90-minute movie.
The good folks over at This Week in Horror recently sat down with Bousman, who dropped the following on fans:
"It's psychotic and it's crazy", Bousman tells co-hosts Matt Raub and Staci Layne Wilson. "I wanted to do a movie that's fun. Repo! was fun, and I think that translated well into the movie. 11 11 11 and Mother's Day are not fun movies. Ninety is fun. It's 90 kills in 90 minutes. Done. Sold. Buy my ticket. We're talking unique kills, too; it's not like I just put ninety people in a room and dropped a bomb. The script is from Scott Milam, who also wrote Mother's Day. It's a cross between Natural Born Killers, True Romance,...

Lots of exciting news for Staci Layne Wilson's upcoming short "The Key to Annabel Lee [A Woman in Triptych]" today. Not only is Dread Central home to the exclusive online debut of the film's full trailer, but we also have an update on when and where "Annabel Lee" will be having its premiere.
First things first … here's a quick overview of "The Key to Annabel Lee [A Woman in Triptych]":
Death, and things in threes, are major themes in "The Key to Annabel Lee [A Woman in Triptych]". Narrating and starring in the films (four shorts in all — best described as a cinematic form of installation art) is Nivek Ogre (Repo! The Genetic Opera), famous as the lead singer of the industrial rock band Skinny Puppy. Diane Ayala Goldner (Feast) appears as a wolf-like seducer in two installments of the experimental film, but "the star of the show, as in the poem, is Annabel Lee herself," says Staci. "She is the triptych of the tale,...

We know there are so many web series out there, it's nearly impossible to separate the good from the bad, but for horror fans there are few better than "This Week in Horror" hosted by Matt Raub and Staci Layne Wilson. They're already up to Episode 10, and Staci dropped us a line to let us know that this week's installment should be of special interest to our readers.
On tap in Episode 10 are Jon Bernthal (Shane on AMC's "The Walking Dead") and director Stuart Gordon, who reveals even more scoops about Re-Animator - The Musical, starring George Wendt, Chris L. McKenna, and Jesse Merlin, now playing at The Steve Allen Theater through March 27th.
You can check out the whole "This Week in Horror" video below, but here are some highlights. [Note that Staci's absent from Bernthal's interview, but filling in for her is up-and-coming scream queen Brooke Lewis, who ably assists Matt in grilling him.]
