During the Jan. 7 premiere of ‘The Bachelor’, Sean blogged throughout and he revealed the six contestants who made the most lasting impression on him. Do we already know the frontrunners for Sean’s heart?
Sean Lowe handed out 19 roses on the season 17 premiere of The Bachelor, but it looks like only six of those roses really matter. In every season of the hit dating show, there are frontrunners who are clearly miles ahead of the rest of the competition, and this season is no exception. There is usually the pretty girl, the sporty girl, the goofy girl, the crazy girl, inspirational girl and of course the evil girl — and I’m not just listing Spice Girls here.

Sean Lowe is the star of season 17 of The Bachelor, which debuted Monday on ABC. The hunky Dallas businessman and entrepreneur will be blogging about his romantic journey for People.com.Going into the first night as The Bachelor, I was filled with an excitement that I can't quite put into words. I was so anxious to meet the women and I had so many questions that needed answering. Would I feel a connection with anyone? Am I going to meet my future wife tonight? Can I really carry on 25 different conversations with 25 different women? Am I going to make it out alive?...

The premiere of a new season of "The Bachelor" is always good for some of the outrageous ways the women try to get the attention of the bachelor. The new bachelor continues the tradition of keeping it within the franchise family. Sean Lowe came in third on Season 8 of "The Bachelorette."
Lindsay Yenter, a 24-year-old substitute teacher, certainly came dressed to impress. But was it too much?
"Did I miss the memo? Is this my wedding day?" Sean asked upon seeing her. That's right, Lindsay showed up for their initial meeting in a wedding dress.
"You may now kiss the bride," she said, proceeding to kiss him on the lips. Sean seemed both impressed at her bravado, and a little surprised by it. Apparently, it was a positive enough first impression. Lindsay was not one of the seven women given the boot on the first night.
Season 17 of "The Bachelor" continues every Monday at 8 p.

Sean makes his mark on ‘The Bachelor,’ as he meets his contestants — including his future bride!
Sean Lowe made his highly anticipated debut as The Bachelor on Jan. 7, and what a season premiere it was! There was kissing, heart breaking, and romantic whisperings — and that was just between Sean and Arie Luyendyk Jr.! After a pep talk from his former rival, Sean began his journey by whittling down the 26 contestants to just 19, which was no easy feat considering they were all gorgeous, all hysterical and all dying to be his future wife.

Sean Lowe decides to shake things up a little on "The Bachelor" premiere, just handing out roses all willy-nilly, much to the consternation of the ladies. It is rather delightful to watch. But let's see how we got there ...
We kick things off with Sean wearing a shirt -- but surely that won't last long. Oh! And there it is. Shirtless at 40 seconds in. Well, thank God because why else are we watching?
The show makes us relive Sean's "love affair" with Emily, complete with him running through the streets of Prague calling her name and then pressing her up against a wall to make out. It's actually rather amazing the clips manage to find moments when Emily and Sean weren't making out, because it seemed like that was all they did. Which, hey, we don't judge because there are worse things.
As the plinky-plunky strains of Emily Despair play,...

The women who will compete for Sean Lowe's affections on the new season of The Bachelor have been unveiled by ABC. Lowe - who came third in Emily Maynard's season of The Bachelorette - will meet 26 women hoping to win his heart when the show returns in January. However, only 25 of the hopefuls involved have been named by ABC, with the final contestant's identity being kept a secret. The women include Ashley P, a hair stylist who is obsessed with the erotic novel Fifty Shades of Grey, and Lindsay, a substitute teacher who wears a wedding dress for her first meeting with Lowe. The bachelorettes also include a cruise-ship entertainer, a yoga instructor, a journalist, a poker dealer, a political consultant and a Jumbotron operator. Nineteen hopeful contestants will remain after the first rose ceremony, which was filmed in September. The Bachelor (more)...

Sean is in the midst of filming season 17 of ABC's 'The Bachelor,' and a new report claims that he has proposed to one of the lucky ladies! Sean Lowe has reportedly found love! "The Bachelor" returns to ABC in January, but Reality Steve already has the scoop on which lovely lady wins Sean Lowe's heart and the final rose this season.
Spoiler alert! Spoiler alert! Spoiler alert! Only read on if you want to know who Steve says is the final woman and whether she and Sean are engaged.
Rs already told us which of Sean's ladies make it to the hometown dates: Catherine Giudici from Seattle, Lindsay Yenter from Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., Desiree Hartsock from Newport Beach, Calif., and AshLee Frazier from Houston, Texas.
Reality Steve reports that Desiree is then eliminated at the rose ceremony.
Fun fact for this season of "The Bachelor": Sean doesn't sleep with any of his final three women on the overnight dates in Chiang Rai, Thailand.
"Congrats to Sean for being the first 'Bachelor' ever to not fornicate on the overnights," Steve cheekily notes.

"The Bachelor" returns for its 17th season in January with "Bachelorette" Emily Maynard reject Sean Lowe as the man with all the roses (and all the power). And courtesy of spoiler guru Reality Steve, we've already got the scoop on his final four women and where Sean's headed for the overnight dates with his final three.
According to Steve, the final four women in the running for Sean's heart are:
Catherine Giudici from Seattle
Lindsay Yenter from Fort Leonard Wood, Mo.
Desiree Hartsock from Newport Beach, Calif.
AshLee Frazier from Houston, Texas
Sean's hometown dates with these four ladies were filmed Oct. 27-Nov. 1, with the rose ceremony narrowing the field to three on Friday (Nov. 2). Remember Marissa (von Bleicken) and Hannah (Mclalwain) ? They were both eliminated as contestants in The Glee Project after placing first in the very same episode's opening challenge. They won the homework assignment (on most competition shows, a win like this confers some level of protection!) but it couldn't have mattered less.
Of course we remember Cameron (Mitchell). In his case, even the contestant himself thought he had lost—but after watching showrunner Ryan Murphy beg him to stay (to no avail), it sure felt like a win.
I think it's time we accept that the details of this particular game never really mattered. All that matters is this: Does Ryan want to put you into the cast of Glee?
The Glee Project isn't Jeopardy or The Bachelor. More than one contestant can win the prize: a meaty, custom-fit role in Glee. What's more, at this point, there's not much of...

It's that time again, time to speculate on the next season of Dancing with the Stars! The rumor mill has been a-swirl recently with plenty of fodder for the TV bloggers and Dwts fan sites to feast upon. ABC is set to announce the Dancing with the Stars Season 12 cast on February 28 during The Bachelor. For now we have only some conjecture and one sure bet to play around with…so let’s play.
I've noted a common theme among some of the female names being floated around... ladies with drug-addled baggage. Most likely it's the handlers of these 'stars' who are pushing for an invite from the show rather than the other way around. Imagine the benefits that the 12 week disciplined and rigorous program of dance training could bring to these women personally, physically, and professionally, if they could endure it. Meghan, Lindsay and Stacey are the three women who were sent home in week 4 of "The Bachelor". These are the girls who received little camera time, compared to the other two, Ashley H. and Michelle, who made the list as the show's troublemakers.
Like in the previous weeks, Brad Womack eliminated the girls who had little time with him. Meghan, Lindsay and Stacey were in the group date and Stacey was the one who admitted to Dr. Drew that she had cheated. Apart from that, the eliminated women were shadowed by the antics of Ashley H. and Michelle.
Ashley H. was the one who sneaked upon Brad and Britt while they were kissing. She interrupted the tender moment and told Brad that it would be easier for her to "just take a step back" but Brad said no. Despite being cut off, Britt earned a rose and she accepted.

It’s a thin line between love and hate, at least according to a classic 1971 ballad by The Persuaders. But on this season of The Bachelor, there’s a much closer relationship between love and abject terror. Seriously, what is the deal with Brad Womack and his pathological desire to make every date look like a combination of Fear Factor, Paradise Hotel, and 48 Hours: Mystery?
Take Brad’s “romantic” one-on-one with Chantal O (top left, in helmet, and bottom, crying), which he ludicrously said he hoped would make her feel like she was experiencing something “completely out of the real world.

On the latest "Bachelor" episode, it's the episode of Sad Stories. It's like the girls are on "Queen for a Day," where they have to relay the horrible things that have happened to them in order to win a Maytag washer and dryer Brad Womack's heart.

The first date card is for Ashley S., the 12-year-old First Impression Rose girl or Ashley With the Dead Dad. There are many things about her that annoy us, hopefully Brad figures that out and sends her packing.

Tonight on "The Bachelor," the drama queens take a hike and everyone's favorite couple Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez come back!
We kick things off with Chris Harrison explaining everything to the girls. He advises them to use time with Brad wisely. Is that his euphemistic way of telling them to put out? The first date card he gives them is for Ashley H., who is the other Ashley, as in not Ashley with the Dead Dad. Ashley Wtdd looks sad the date card was not for her.
