- Karm-Syndia is a Haitian filmmaker, executive producer and actress. Born and raised in Haiti, she moved to the US at the age of 16 where she followed her dreams to work in the entertainment industry. She made her TV debut with a local Haitian television in Boston, Tele Diaspora, by hosting the editorial segment. A year later, she hosted and produced her own TV Show "Soiree Musicale with Karm". In 2011, she produced an episode on Haitian Diaspora for CityLine, a Boston community talk show, which aired on WCVB, Boston's ABC affiliated channel.
In 2009, she booked her first acting gig for the big screen in "Open Vacancy" directed by Patrick Jerome; a film director that Karm-Syndia would go on to work on several movie with including her starring role in "Enpresyon". Karm-Syndia went on to direct and produce several films. In 2019, she received the honorable mention from One Reeler short-film competition for her film "Steps to Your Heart". In 2020, she directed her first Haitian film "A Heart on the Mend".
Karm-Syndia has returned to producing Television shows like "Off Limits" talk show, "Cooking with Chef Sanders", and "E-Decor" home design under the label of her production company Karm-Syndia Entertainment.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Karm S Augustin
