- Ken Venzke grew up in the Midwest earning a B.S. in Atmospheric Science from the University of Kansas. Upon acceptance to the USAF, he was commissioned an officer and eventually became Flight Crew on USAF, US Army and US Navy aircraft (EC-135, KC-10, E6-B, Blackhawk) to interesting places around the world. As a Captain, he attended graduate school on full USAF scholarship, earning a Master of Science in Engineering and Environmental Management. In 2011 Ken made his movie debut as a special character in the movie "Contagion" as Channel 7 live News Reporter San Francisco and has been hooked ever since. As a meteorologist, he is right at home in front of the camera. Adding value to movie scenes are a "great and challenging feeling-there is much camaraderie on the sets!" Ken Venzke can be seen as a Dock Worker in the feature Film "The Master" and was hand picked by director Paul Thomas Anderson for scenes with Joaquin Phoenix, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Amy Adams. - While flying from USAF Graduate School in Ohio to San Francisco to be reunited with his birth mother, the movie showed on the plane was 'The Bachelor', starring Chris O'Donnell and Renée Zellweger, which his birth mother was in as one of the brides.
- He was adopted by loving parents and in 2000 was reunited with his birth mother after 30 years. Their reunion was covered by Bay Area TV stations and their story was LIVE on KRON TV Mornings on 4 show. Walking around San Francisco after the show people were recognizing them from the touching story.
