- Per-Josef Idivuoma born and raised among what the Americans call Rudolf, in the town of Idivuoma in Northern Sweden. He also gained his community name, Gákte Biera, for always wearing the traditional clothes of the Sámi people. Gákte is a proud Sámi, the indigenous people of northern Europe, who are known to be the inventors of ski's. Two Sámi men were also the winners (of course) of the worlds first ski-race in the 1800's.
