Liam Swann is an award-winning animation writer from Barnsley, South Yorkshire, England. He studied at the University of Central Lancashire from 2011 to 2015, earning an MA in screenwriting and a BA (Hons) in film production. In 2016, he won the Matt Greenhalgh Award for Best Screenplay.
In January 2017, Liam joined Nickelodeon's 'Nella the Princess Knight' as a script assistant and started writing for the show in 2018. From 2019 to 2021, he worked at the BBC as a script editor and writer for the animated series 'JoJo & Gran Gran.' In 2021, he also wrote and edited scripts for 'Silly Sundays' at Cartoon Saloon, an Irish animation studio. Since 2023, Liam has been developing his own show for BBC Studios.
