Sue Shaheen is an American actress, writer, and singer, born into an artistic family. Her late father was the Egyptian fine artist Moustafa Abdelwahab, and her mother the Palestinian actress Asmahan Tawfiq. It was inevitable for Sue to pursue the arts, and her career took off with Sue's hit single 'Makansh halo' on the Middle Eastern top charts.
She moved to Hollywood and obtained her degree in vocal performance and film production from The Musicians Institute. Sue studied sketch comedy & improvisation at The Second City Conservatory. She performed and wrote for a Second City house ensemble 'Party Boat' for three years. In 2021, Sue starred in 'BANNED' an off-Broadway original play at Theatre Row.
She studied different acting techniques such as The Alexander Technique under Jean-Louis Rodrigue and Kristof Konrad, Shakespeare at The Elizabeth Mestnik Acting Studio, and many more. Sue is a student at The Howard Fine Acting studio, a place where she finally feels at home. Her acting classmates would cast Sue as, "The lovechild of Rosario Dawson and Julia Roberts, who will steal your data, shoot past your guards, and still make her date tonight."
