It was later bought by the Mary Ellen's father from the Caruth family. The Prairie-style mansion is located at 4949 Swiss Avenue, in the Swiss Avenue Historic District, and boasts a third-floor ballroom, seven fireplaces and a music room that, at the time of construction, boasted the reputed largest mirror in Texas.
- She probably took her extra role in Hired Wife while on a ceremonial trip to Florida to invite that state's governor to the Greater Texas and Pan-American Exposition. Logan was the official Miss Pan-American Exposition.
