André Caccia Bava is a composer, music producer and sound engineer. He has worked on movies and series for Netflix, HBO, Globo, Amazon, AppleTV+, Warner, Sony, TV Cultura.
In 2002, Caccia Bava wrote and performed the original song "Batendo no Peito" for the film "One Last Dance", with Patrick Swayze, Los Angeles, CA. He worked as musical co-producer for the TV Cultura series "Pedro e Bianca", winning the International Emmy Kids Awards, in 2012. That same year, he worked as co-musical director on "Pra Sempre Fenômeno", which chronicled the retirement of renowned Brazilian footballer Ronaldo.
In 2014, he was the musical director for the short film "2028, O Filme", based on the graphic novel by Marcelo Costa and worked as musical director for the documentary "Drops of Joy", on AppleTV+ and Prime Video catalogs. In 2017, he was the musical director for the international series "My Life is Circus", for HBO Latin America. In 2024, Caccia Bava worked on the second season, this time on Warner.
He also worked in advertisement, winning some of the media's highest awards, such as the Golden Lion at Cannes, El Ojo, Profissionais do Ano, Wave Festival and at the CCSP Festival.
Caccia Bava collaborated on a series of concerts, sessions and performances as a musician and musical director, working alongside artists such as Sandy, Elza Soares, Ivete Sangalo, Lulu Santos, Guru, Lobão, Black Rio, among many others. He has mixed music videos for artists such as IZA, Gloria Groove and Francisco El Hombre.
In 2020, he was the music director for the series "Refazenda", on GNT (Globo), hosted by Bela Gil. During the pandemic, in 2021, he worked as composer and music producer for the Prime Video series "5XComédia" and the Netflix feature "Double Dad".
In 2022, he was the musical director for the Prime Video original feature, "An Unforgettable Year: Summer" and music producer/music editor for "Back to 15" (Season 1, Netflix).
