Molly O'Connor is an emerging producer with an interest in compassionate and innovative filmmaking. From a visual arts background she began working in film in 2014. Since then she has worked on various productions for theatrical, broadcast and online release.
In 2018 she produced the short documentary Running 62 (Adelaide Film Fest, St. Kilda Film Fest, Melbourne Documentary Film Fest) with emerging director Zibeon Fielding, set in the remote APY lands in South Australia. And Running 62: The Arrival (Adelaide Film Fest Fund) an accompanying VR documentary, directed by award-winning documentary director Madeleine Parry. More recently Molly was Assistant Producer on feature documentary Television Event, selected for the 2020 Tribeca Film Festival.
Molly recently received Enterprise funding from Screen Australia to complete an 18 month producer placement with award winning company Felix Media. While there Molly will work across their slate of moving image, documentary and fiction projects.
