- Doubtlessly, the powerful use of lighting, framing, and shot composition had an astounding effect on the despairing tone throughout most of the film, culminating in the final revelation. Valentin's incomparable success as the leading cinematographer for The Masterpiece can be measured in numerous facets - first and foremost, Valentin earned an award for himself from the Creajeune Festival, where he and the film garnered the accolade of Special Mention. Additionally, Mr. Alt himself earned an award for Outstanding Achievement in Cinematography from the Les Bandes Passantes Film Festival - each of these accomplishments speak volumes to his skillset and the success which he himself brought for the film. On the whole, the film was tremendously successful among fans and critics alike, and screened at movie theaters across the country, and was distributed internationally for home release on DVD by both Starlight Productions and iShoot Productions. The fact that the film earned such success from both commercial sources, as well as critics across the world is an excellent reflection of both the successes of the film, and the impact of Mr. Alt's success on The Masterpiece as a whole.
Clint Killin. - The documentary film series "Souvenirs Ferroviaires" was a tremendous success, and in addition to being the subject of widespread press recognition, the film was also internationally distributed to outstanding response from audiences. The film was released in theaters, and was distributed by iShoot Productions, Starlight Productions, and numerous other widely renowned production companies to outstanding success and influence in the international film industry. The various successes from both audiences and critics alike are doubtlessly the effect of Mr. Alt's stand out cinematography, which was absolutely crucial in the massive success of each of the four parts of the documentary.
Marc Huder. - Sarreguemines dans la tourmente was an outstanding success among critics and audiences, and was the subject of press exposure from popular French publications, as well as receiving massively positive responses from audiences and critics alike. The film was distributed both in theaters across the country and on DVD where it sold thousands of copies, and was distributed internationally by the French Films Archives, as well as iShoot Productions to outstanding success among audiences.
The cinematography of the film, thanks to the efforts of Mr. Alt, are an outstanding reflection of the themes of the film, and the always looming topic of the Nazi occupation.
