Commissioned UK screenwriter, broadcast radio writer and author. Specialist in educational radio documentary and features for children, including the creation of many original characters.
Commercial feature writing includes radio scripts for the Beanotown characters, Dennis and Gnasher, amongst others.
Originally from Hertfordshire, now resident in Smethwick, in the West Midlands, UK, Nicky is a graduate of Birmingham University, and went on to achieve MA Writing (Distinction) in 2014, with prizes for Screenwriting. Her novel "The Challah Tin" was shortlisted for the 2013 Impress Prize. She has also been a Reader for the Rubery Book Award.
A children's book, "Professor Hallux and the Lalalas" is available on Amazon in both paperback and kindle versions.
