- Brandon Dalo is a composer for film, television and games based in Los Angeles. Brandon has worked in the music department on acclaimed projects such as The Color Purple, Jordan Peele's Nope, The Lost City, DC's Star Girl, Destiny 2, The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse, and many others.
Brandon has composed the music for 17 feature documentaries in the hit Amazon Prime documentary series Small Town Monsters. His score for the Boggy Creek Monster documentary, in this series, earned him honors for "Best Film Score" from HIIDA. These films have collectively been viewed over 10 million times. He has also worked on numerous short films including Zenith, for which he won the "Best Sound Award" from the Independent Shorts Awards. Along with other media projects such as composing the main introduction theme music for the podcast Monstro Bizarro, Brandon has scored feature films like Manifest Evil. Brandon has developed a unique compositional style focusing on mixing traditional orchestral elements with modern electronic sounds and unconventional soundscapes.
Brandon has also worked as an assistant for composer and orchestrator Jordan Cox, writing additional music for the animated series FriendZSpace, writing the music to the animated children's book Why Do Flowers Grow? by Vooks, and other duties.
Brandon worked for the esteemed sample library company Cinesamples where he handled demo writing, beta testing of new libraries, and support. He also helped build the beta team from a few members to 75 active members. He worked on projects like Musio, Collision Impact Designer, Apocalyptica, Drums of War 3, Industry Brass and others. Brandon has also worked as a preset designer and beta tester for Silen Audio's flagship synth InfiniteFlow and Naroth Audio's library Ministry of Bass.
Brandon has also worked with music library companies such as Two Myles Music, Current Music, Ear Parade, and Silen Audio. Through this work, his music has appeared in television shows such as SAS Australia and the Khloe Kardashian produced shows Twisted Sisters and Twisted Love on Discovery. Brandon's music from the Ear Parade album Trailer Scores Future Action has been placed in major news channels and shows around the world like the K-drama Kill it.
Originally from the Cleveland, Ohio area, Brandon has earned a Bachelor's Degree of Music Composition (Scoring for Visual Media) with Honors at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood.
