Aparna Sharma is an Indian actress. She grew up living in various places across India, including Delhi and Himachal Pradesh, due to the transferable nature of her father's job in the Indian Air Force. Her father's last posting was in Mumbai, where Sharma and her family settled down after his retirement.
Sharma completed her secondary education at the Air Force School in Delhi. She enrolled as a history major at Sri Venkateswara College in Delhi but opted out of the course after she moved to Mumbai in 2005. She eventually graduated in commerce.
Sharma's foray into modelling began in Delhi. She modelled for Sony products and did a few shoots for HT City and Delhi Times. After shifting to Mumbai, she participated in the Femina Miss India contest (2005) and made it to the top 10 finalists.
She quit modelling and joined Air India as an air hostess. She travelled with the airline company for two years before leaving and joining Kishore Kishore Namit Kapoor's acting classes.
Sharma's modelling career resumed when the Elite model management company signed her. She has appeared in TV commercials for brands like Coke, Parle Monaco, Samsung Mobile, ESPN Brand Film, Chik Satin Shampoo, and more.
Eventually, she ventured into the film industry. Her debut movie was Guddu Ki Gun (2015) opposite Kunal Kemmu, produced by Eminox Media and directed by Shiirshak S. Anand and Shantanu Ray Chhibber. She has also been a part of movies like Ek (2019) and Rum Pum Posshh (2020).
