Stephanie Alecia Rose was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She has three brothers. Since the age of 10, Stephanie has enjoyed performing on stage. She knew at 10 years old that all she wanted to do was act. Stephanie was also determined to be a well-rounded actor, knowing other roles that had a huge hand in making a production come to life. Several years later in 2010, not only did Stephanie take on directing, she also expanded her career in acting to film, TV, and commercial. More specifically, she started as an assistant director for stage, and her first show was The Wiz. She assisted directed a classroom full of middle school students who had not been introduced to the performing arts. Afterwards, she moved on to interning at one of the top high schools in her hometown of Tulsa where she continued to assist with directing students in productions such as Grease, Once On This Island, As You Like It, Macbeth, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Hairspray, and more. For two summers, Stephanie was also the Theatre Arts teacher for the Greenwood Cultural Center's Summer Arts program. Stephanie has also volunteered her time with the Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club. She has also taken on other roles such as stage managing, props master, wardrobe assistant, technical assistant, set design, set building, and more. In 2015, Stephanie's professional directorial debut was at the Broken Arrow Community Playhouse directing Send Me No Flowers, a play based off of the Doris Day film. She then went on to continue directing professionally at BACP with shows such as Honeymoon at Graveside Manor, War of the Worlds: The Panic Broadcast, and Play On! In 2015, Stephanie moved to the acting Mecca of the world, Los Angeles, CA where she has gained more knowledge about the entertainment industry, and continued to work in theatre as well as directing for film (short form) and continuing to act. While in L.A., Stephanie has been an assistant director, stage manager, and light and sound tech for local theatre. She has also produced several short films that have awarded her Best Director, Best Short Film, and more titles in several film festivals. In 2020, she received her Bachelor's degree in English. Stephanie continues to work in film, TV, and commercials in Los Angeles and Oklahoma, and has recently appeared in commercials such as 7-Eleven, CiCi's Pizza, feature films, and more.
