While fans eagerly awaited the film’s release, some were surprised to see Deverakonda facing harsh criticism online. He made a cameo appearance as Arjuna, with many viewers appreciating his powerful take on the iconic character. However, others took to social media to voice their disapproval, arguing that Deverakonda didn’t embody the traditional image of Arjuna and that his Telangana accent didn’t suit the heroic requirements of the role.

My first thoughts on watching the new Indonesian film Primbon are that it is one of the better horror movies to have come out recently, but the caveat to that is that it has a rather regressive stance regarding the supernatural; the climax is not befitting of the great buildup. That being said, Primbon is actually a good example of how to have the right kind of exposition to set up a horror film. Horror requires some kind of deep dive into the unknown and the mythological legends of a place. The traditional population’s belief in the stories of the old sparks an interest, and one can build up the scenes from the inherent myths in the culture. Ram Gopal Verma Asks Schools To “Teach Students ‘How To Make A Film Like Animal’” ( Photo Credit – Facebook )
Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal has set the box office on fire with its loud roar. Headlined by Ranbir Kapoor, the film is making the right kind of noise on social media and at the ticket windows. Apart from making and breaking records with its astounding collections across the globe, it’s also receiving massive criticism from a section of the audience, who are slamming the Vanga directorial left, right, and center. A couple of days back, a Congress MP bashed the film and its makers for glorifying violence, toxic masculinity, and misogyny.
As the film has divided the audience and netizens into sections, a couple of filmmakers have come out supporting the Vanga directorial. After Anurag Kashyap, Ram Gopal Varma lent his support to the film while bashing the critics for giving negative reviews.
