Marco Valerio Carrara was born in Foligno, Italy. In 2015, he started to work in the film industry as a camera trainee in low budget, independent features, documentaries and commercials. In 2017, he attended the MA Film course (cinematography) at the Screen Academy Scotland, Edinburgh. He is based in Rome and he is member of AITR (Italian Association of Camera Technicians). Through the years, he has collected experiences in every camera department role.
