- Writer
Charvelle is from the East Coast, where her creativity really started to shine. First published as a writer in the 5th grade, Charvelle's affinity for story telling started to blossom. Always a straight A student she continued to go to two high schools simultaneously, Manchester High and The Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts for Creative Writing. While she honed her writing she also took up any opportunity to act possible, acting in the traveling Looking In Theatre troupe, and various elective courses. She graduated and went on to get a Broadcast Journalism degree from Emerson College, where she continued to explore other story telling tools, and searched for any acting opportunities she could do while studying.
Upon her final semester at Emerson she transitioned and finished her degree in Los Angeles, where she has been ever since. She's been a plus size model and content creator for over a decade, working for various brands such as Nordstrom, Torrid, BET, JCPenney, Unique Vintage, Savage x Fenty and more. While modeling she continued to train in acting at the Margie Haber Studio, Killians Workshop, Groundlings, Speiser Sturges, and she continues to hone her craft under the tutelage of Indrani DeSouza and performs with a JV Improv team at the LA Connection Comedy Theatre.
