YouTube star Lisa Schwartz, who has branched out with premium content projects in the past, premiered today an original series on the recently-relaunched ABC Digital app. Titled This Isn’t Working, Schwartz plays an aspiring actress in the show who takes on an endless stream of embarrassing part-time jobs to make ends meet.
Schwartz, who launched her Lisbug channel in 2007 and now counts roughly two million subscribers, wrote the five, 10-minute-long episodes alongside writer/actor Sean Kearney. The two also executive produced This Isn’t Working with Maker Studios and Retrofit Films. Fellow YouTube stars Timothy DeLaGhetto and Anna Akana also make guest appearances.
