Raphaël Lecat
- Actor
Raphaël Lecat was born in Paris and raised in Singapore where he discovered his passion for acting. He trained at Lasalle College of the Arts, receiving a BA in Acting (and some much-needed discipline). His theatre credits in Singapore include donning the mad crown as Macbeth, cross-dressing in Top Girls, clowning in Scorched and breaking the fourth wall in Revolutionary Plays 2.0. He then took his craft to Melbourne, Australia, where he acted in A Midsummer Nights Dream, Box and Cox, The Vibrator Play, and received critical praise for his role in Beautiful Thing as Tony. Raphaël has also appeared on screen collaborating with production companies such as Fox Sports Asia, Paypal, Xiaomi, and many more. He has also worked in Vancouver's thriving Film/TV industry for a couple of years, deepening his skill in front of the camera.
Now living in London after completing an MA in Classical Acting from LAMDA, he continues to hone his craft and broaden his experiences in the London industry. Having already wrapped notable projects - an episode in the award-winning AppleTV+ Slow Horses featuring Gary Oldman, performance capture for the BAFTA-winning Ninja Theory, Hewlett-Packard/Nvidia Sitcom Get Ahead, and a handful of trailblazing shorts - he hopes to continue collaborating with like-minded artists and filmmakers, whilst making friends along the way!
