- Jacob Oliver Stockton is an English writer, director, producer and actor. He was born on the 27th of May, 1998 in the North-East of England in Newcastle upon Tyne.
Jacob made his acting debut in 2014 as a supporting artist in Tracy Beakers 'The Dumping Ground'. After falling in love with acting and filmmaking, and influenced by his mum, he decided after leaving school to study 'Media' at Newcastle College from 2014 to 2017. After a three year study at the college, and upon the completion of his course, Jacob decided that he didn't want to stay in education any longer. Taking a one year break, Jacob came up with the idea to make a short film company 'Fully Loaded Productions'. Here, he recruited a group of filmmakers and went on to make his directorial debut with his first short film 'Stalker'. This was later followed by the Mockumentary short film 'Conscious Uncoupling' in 2018. In the summer of 2018, Jacob appeared in 'Vera' alongside Brenda Blethlyn.
Jacob decided in 2019 that he wanted to take some time away from Fully Loaded Productions and go to university to further his studies and knowledge in film. He applied to study 'Film and Television' at Northumbria University in Newcastle upon Tyne.
From 2019 to 2022 he trained and practiced as a film director/writer at the university. It was in his final year at Northumbria University when he wrote and directed 'Tinseltown'. Jacob has since continued to work around the North-East of England as a freelance director.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Anonymous
