The official website for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Koji Shinasaka's mahjong-themed manga Tohai – Ura Rate Mahjong Tohai Roku announced today that it is set to premiere in Japan in October 2024. Additionally, the anime's three main voice cast members have been revealed as below: Kei played by Kohsuke Tanabe (Alvan in I Shall Survive Using Potions! ) — A high school student, known as "K of the Ice," earns money as a substitute mahjong player while pursuing academics. He has an exceptional memory and a theoretical playstyle. Amina played by Fairouz Ai (Manatsu Natsuumi/Cure Summer in Tropical-Rouge! Precure ) — A girl from a foreign country who was taken to the underworld, leaving her without any official records or nationality. After meeting Kei, she ends up living with him. Doujima played by Shunsuke Takeuchi (Alexander Yamato in King Of Prism ) — A skilled mahjong player in the underworld with exceptional intuition and luck.
