Clintons’ HiddenLight Hires ‘For Sama’ EP
HiddenLight Productions, the production outfit co-founded by Hillary Rodham Clinton, Sam Branson, and Chelsea Clinton, has hired BAFTA and Emmy-winning executive producer Siobhan Sinnerton to the role of creative director and SVP of unscripted. She joins from Channel 4, where she commissioned and executive produced the Oscar-nominated documentary For Sama. Sinnerton has worked at Channel 4 for more than a decade, with her other credits including The Hunt for Jihadi John, BAFTA-winning Myanmar’s Killing Fields, and Emmy-winning Escape from Isis. The CW announced Tuesday an additional four series acquisitions as part of its summer lineup.
Making their U.S. debuts on The CW are: the horror whodunnit competition “Killer Camp,” debuting July 16 at 8 p.m. Et/Pt; , the docu-series “Being Reuben,” debuting on Aug. 7 at 9; the comedy panel game show “Taskmaster,” debuting on Aug. 2 at 8; and the family-centric cooking competition “Fridge Wars,” debuting Aug. 2 at 9.

The four new series include whodunnit competition series “Killer Camp,” which debuts July 16, the docu-series “Being Reuben,” premiering Aug. 7, a comedy panel game show called “Taskmaster” coming Aug. 2, and family-centric cooking competition series “Fridge Wars” immediately following it the same night.
These join the network’s existing summer lineup of original and acquired series.

British TV presenter and actor Reggie Yates, who starred in Doctor Who, is to front a documentary for MTV UK that will see him travel the world looking at young people tacking big issues.
The Viacom-owned broadcaster is hosted eight-part series Reggie Yates vs The World. It is produced by Flicker Productions, which previously produced The Insider: Reggie Yates for BBC Three, and content funding group Krempelwood.
Filming has started on the series, which will air later this year. In each episode, Yates will take on a new subject, immersing himself into extreme and unusual situations with topical relevance for young people. Through his experience of grueling environments and challenging encounters, Reggie will be pushed to his absolute limits, giving him a new perspective on these issues.
