From Indiana, Ty'Kisha is an award-winning writer and film producer. She got her start with a romantic comedy titled "Why Can't I Keep A Man" which is co-written by 16 year industry director, Michael A. Pinckney, who is known for being assistant director for the movies "Precious" and "Inside Man", he is also co-producer of BET's Docu-Series "From The Bottom Up". After Ty'Kisha's first script was written, she moved to Atlanta and went on to write more award-winning scripts such as "Definition of Seduction", an erotic drama, and a comedy MUA Squad: A Hollywood Robbery, to name a few. Ty'Kisha is now positioning herself to produce films. She told me she has 15 feature film projects and she also has one episodic titled "The Way Men Think" which she already filmed in 2021. Ty'Kisha has also told me that she gets her inspiration from all of Eddie Murphy movies. She has stated that her first script "Why Can't I Keep A Man" is comparable to Boomerang (1992) and Think Like A Man (2012). She says it is somewhat a mixture of the two films in a modern sense. Her favorite genre is comedy.
