Kaspars Eglitis
- Sound Department
Kaspars Eglitis is a sound and music professional.
He often performs music with the bands Mono:Tas and careless afterlife.
He is often a technical specialist on different projects, mainly focusing on sound design if working remotely and sound engineering if working on-site.
He often sound designs the University of Latvia's Yearly Awards ceremony.
Eglitis was born on 1995, and began his first endeavors with music when he got his Guitar Hero controller in 2009 and later that year - his first real guitar.
After graduating the International Baccalaureate program in High School, Kaspars enrolled at the Jazepa Vitola Academy of Music to be a sound engineer, having taught himself for the exams.
Although he passed the exams, he was just a point shy of getting a tuition fee waiver and he could not pay the tuition fee.
Having faced misfortune, he went on to study Philosophy and Computer Science at University of Latvia, honing music production and sound engineering along the way.
Both his degrees have given him, respectively, good communication skills and abilities to excel at configuring computers. Additionally, his sound design skills consist of hands-on experience, so he knows his way around (or rather - behind) the mixer board and recording practices. All this makes Kaspars a stand-out sound engineer who is capable, diligent, and easy to work with.
