Exclusive: The British Film Institute (BFI), the UK’s lead organization for film, has appointed former Stx and Film4 staffer Amy O’Hara as BFI Talent Executive at Film Hub North. She becomes one of seven nationwide Network talent executives.
O’Hara will work alongside fellow Talent Executive Alice Ramsey to lead the talent development resource in the North of England. She replaces Jessica Loveland, who recently joined the BFI as Head of BFI Network.
O’Hara will be based out of the Tyneside Cinema, Newcastle upon Tyne, and joins from Stx International where she most recently served as Digital Marketing Manager overseeing digital campaigns. Previously she was at Film4 for three years where she worked in departments including marketing and distribution.
