- Professional swimmer, Katerine Savard was born in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. Growing up in Pont-Rouge, Quebec, she began competitively swimming when she was 10 years old, for the the Unik swimming club of Pont-Rouge. She graduated from the Université de Montréal, earning a degree in pre-school and primary education, to become a teacher. Katerine competed in the 2012 Olympics in London and the 2016 Olympics in Rio and earned a bronze medal. - Competing at the Pan American Games in 2015, she won a bronze medal in the 100m butterfly and the 4x200m freestyle relay. She also won a gold medal in the 4x100m freestyle relay.
- Won a gold medal in the 100m butterfly and a bronze medal in 4x100m medley relay at the Commonwealth Games in 2014.
