Raised in Houston, Cameron Kic received a B.S. in Radio-Television-Film from the University of Texas at Austin in 2020. He recently graduated with an MFA from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, where he wrote "Paparazzo" - which placed at Austin Film Festival, as well as "Chopped Up Dreams" - which received a 7 on The Black List. His focus reflect on his unique personal experience as the son of a Polish immigrant, his intense love of music and his sociological interests. He is particularly drawn to media, having authored several essays that explore the connection between film, music and sociopolitical issues. In addition to honing his personal artistic voice at school, he also interned for annual film festival, SXSW, and film producer, Adam Kolbrenner.
