"Familie Backeljau" is a comedy series about a family, existing of 5 people. Or should I say 6, 7 or 8? It's The father: Cois, the mother: Maria, the sister: Sabrina, the brother: Franky, the grandmother, Franky's (now ex) girlfriend: Jaenine, Sabrina's (ex) boyfriend: Antonia (Who kinda is in the mob, should watch to know) and last but not least: The dog: Blacky And the very regular guy: Marcel (who is nerd nr 1)
The jokes are all very funny, the acting is different then any other show, but not bad! Very fun to watch. The show was quite popular in Flanders. At the end of 2001, they started rerunning this show. It now has a small, but strong fanbase, and "Familie Backeljau" has become a cult show.
