The Apprentice (2004–2017)
The only show to hear the words: "You're Fired!"
1 March 2004
The Apprentice is the NYC version of Survivor that was based on the show Mark Burnett created along with another show. Men compete with women on 2 business teams in tasks that'll help them to win a prize of working with Donald Trump for $250,000/year job. But every week, a losing team is sent to the boardroom sending 1 player "Fired" for good. This here is definitely a springboard for other NBC shows to add more drama to the reality factor and will see someone have post- eliminating interviews the next day. BTW, if you're fired, you're B&W, color means you're staying in the race.
