I loved the game and played it through in several marathon sessions. I can't wait to get Dark Alliance II. My only complaint about the game is the limited nature of the character choices. That isn't nearly as flexible as I would have liked, but it certainly isn't enough to make me not like the game. The equipment, skills and spell systems are pretty good and are easy to understand and the combat options are fairly versatile. The closest thing I'll give to a spoiler on this game is that I hated the jump puzzles and I'm pretty sure most everyone who plays the game will become fairly frustrated by them. They are surmountable, but they really drove me batty in the extreme levels. All complaints aside, I loved this game and I'd recommend it to anyone who loves RPGs.
