If you enjoy wholesome low-budget Southern films then you will love Southern Heart.
Filmed in the mountainous landscape around Mentone, Alabama, Southern Heart it a beautiful sight to see.
The story is easy to follow yet engaging the whole way through. My only criticism is that in the beginning scene supposedly set in New York was filmed in Montgomery and clearly done so. Just peer out the window of the office and this is easy to see.
Also, Emmy Corey's appearance as an extra holding a jump rope at the camp for disabled children made me laugh and cry and beg for more.
