If you go into this, expecting a 2-3 hour epic film, along the lines of 10 Commandments or such, you're likely to feel very disappointed. However, if you take the movie for what it is, you'll greatly appreciate the fast moving plot, and decent acting. This film isn't about fleshing out characters, or creating sub-plots. If you pay attention, you'll realize it sticks to what the director or studio intended, with some comedic surprises thrown in to try keeping you off-balance. The action is good, the dialogue is decent, and the actors do their part. I would say this will be a successful box-office hit, because of that. You won't waste your money seeing this one. It was nice to see Lucas Black alongside Dennis Quaid. They do a very good job portraying their roles as father and son.
