Patch Adams (1998)
7/10
Humanity in Medicine

Warning: Spoilers
From "Patch Adams" own novel, and director Tom Shadyac, comes this touching story of one man's struggle to bring humanity into medicine. The humour is crass at times, but the drama, moving and true to life, won't fail to make it's mark in your heart.

Robin Williams is made for this role, of course, and he excels once again. Great support comes from Peter Coyote, Monica Potter and Phillip Seymour Hoffman.

"Patch Adams" shows us how the medical profession should be, full of compassion, with a commitment to people, not diseases.
