Vampire Camp (2012)
Camp, very camp...

Warning: Spoilers
and not much else. Actually, there are two or three genuinely funny moments and a cast going full throttle. Everyone seems to be having a blast with the material handed to them, in particular Zack Myers, David Salsa, David Rowley and lead actor Scott Ford as the Professor. But like me, I'm pretty sure most people renting this are either Vampire or Reuben Rox fans. Spoiler: There's very little vampire mayhem and even less of the actor.

As far as the female actors, none of them were particularly interesting to watch. They were a bit too stereotypical, even a bit annoying for my taste. Plus the fact that one of the leads seemed bored most of the time didn't help matters. I don't know, maybe her character was meant to be boring. And I'm sure ALL male and female the characters were meant to be very stereotypical, but personally, I think the male cast was simply stronger and had better material.

The very loose plot involves a renowned vampire hunter and his assistants getting ready to conduct a vampire killing retreat. Among the attendees are actual vampires who soon begin preying on the human attendees.

Something I wasn't expecting and left me wanting more were zombies popping up towards the end. It almost made up for the lack of the aforementioned mayhem.

Still, I did enjoy the movie. I've always checked out the work of Indie Horror Filmmakers and "Vampire Camp" kept me entertained.

PS- I'm not friends or was involved with this movie in any way/shape/form. I'm just a fan/reviewer of these films.
