Le gros coup (1964)
A rare gem from France
10 August 2014
Warning: Spoilers
This is a film freely adapted from a Charles Williams novel. A story in the line of what James Hadley Chase did. The tale of a lost man, involved in a swindle and murder case. Ant do not forget the femme fatale...

Hardy Kruger is particularly brilliant here, so is Emmanuelle Riva/ The settings are interesting, for those like me who are in love with France in the sixties. The previous scènes in the Paris suburbs are astounding. I really like this little film, so rare. Unfortunately.

Photography is also brilliant, and the DVD quality flawless.

I don't know what else made the director Jean Valère.
