At 25-minutes we learn about the production history of MAD MAX and how it ended up becoming a hit all over the globe. Eggy was the cinematography on the shoot and shares his secrets with a lot of the stunts and the tricky camera-work. Film critics and historians talk about the important of this film and what it did for Australia.
As you can tell, both Mel Gibson and George Miller are absent and this here is really too bad as it would have been nice having them on board since they were the two main people with the film. Still, as long as you get over them not being here, this featurette isn't too bad and it at least gives you a good idea of what impact the film had on Australia as well as all future action movies. We also learn about the alternate version that was released in America. Fans of MAD MAX will enjoy what's here but there's no question that too many key figures are missing.
