41 Seconds (2006)
2/10
Pointless and unrealistic

Warning: Spoilers
In this 3-minute short film we have two male friends on the phone with each other. one of them says that his girlfriend told him that the other friend is a better kisser. So what does he do? He kisses him right away. For 41 seconds I assume if this is what the title means. Not a very creative title anyway. This is all pretty stupid. First of all, they ignored the fact that they were only on the phone. All of a sudden, they were in the same location. Then also why would he kiss the other guy? It's his (best) friend. He is straight. And he won't find out if the other guy is a kisser than himself. All he can find out is if he is a better kisser than his girlfriend. And in the end, one of them randomly goes back to the phone call situation. This is one of the worst short films I have seen in quite a while and I have seen many. looking at the film's rating, it seems that many people just rate a film highly because it is gay-themed. That's already enough. Whp cares about a credible story or production values. Pretty ridiculous. Stay away. You can't spend 4 minutes much worse than by watching this. Not surprised that the two actors don't work in the film industry anymore, but I see Rodney Sewell who wrote and directed this is still having a career. I really hoped he managed to step things up in the last 10 years since this was made.
