How does the EU make laws for Europe?
7 May 2017
An excellent documentation on how new European laws emerge, how people in Brussels struggle for compromises, and how lobbying efforts from all sides try to push things into their direction. In the middle of it, the movie's "Jan Philipp Albrecht", a young MEP from the green party that tries to achieve the best possible outcome to protect privacy of European citizens in the years and decades to come.

The new General Data Protection Regulation is only just the example for the law making process, but not center-stage. Could be on any other law where citizens rights and interests of big companies clash.
