This episode focuses on Nicole's parents. They were featured in a previous episode but we now see them much older. It looks like both Richard and Nicole have had mommy and daddy issues. I'd love to see these two sets of parents/grandparents meet! We get this really heartwarming scene at the end. It's great that the funniest animated kid's show I've ever seen can have some of the most heartwarming moments too.
It's revealed that Nicole is her middle name and her first name is Doctor. Her parents are revealed to be named Daniel and Mary. Daniel seems to be modeled after Grumpy Cat, which is odd seeing as how Grumpy Cat's a girl. Maybe that why she's so grumpy, because she got a sex change. Another great joke is when she says they gave her the wrong blood type. The wouldn't tolerate B- blood and needed A+ blood. ****
