Review of The Living Legend

I saw this two parter at the cinema as a kid. It's one of the more ambitious and cinematic episodes. The Galactica comes across Cain and the Battlestar Pegasus. This introduces a few more characters to the series, notably Sheba, Cain's daughter who becomes a main player. What makes this episode interesting is Lloyd Bridges and his conflict with Adama. The two of them disagree on every strategy despite the fact they both want the same end goal. There are some nice subplots like Cassiopia being Cain's ex, which doesn't go down well with Starbuck. Overall there is a good mix of action and conflict, and on top of that, if you've seen Lloyd Bridges in Hot Shots, it's very hard not to laugh because he's playing a very similar character here, only it's not meant to be funny on this occasion.
