#MeToo is just as important to male victims of rape

Warning: Spoilers
Lasse Steen Jensen, a protagonist of the critically acclaimed music video by Kadie Elder "First Time I Kissed A Boy", shows off his more expansive acting skills in this Dutch short which exposes the raw emotions trying to come to terms of his rape, a justifying scenario too often in todays world all the way up to the top court in the land. Though no pigeon is nailed to a door, as Brett's gay roommate experienced firsthand, this Insane Homophobia still needs a proper evaluation of Justice today. Jonnah, Lasse's tragic character is raped by a best friend's blind date, "We are Okay Now" shows even in todays #MeToo environment as this film appears , Males of all ages are raped as well, and need comforting, whether it is from a guilt ridden best friend's indirect consequence or directly through beliefs of the all-too-rare cooperation of those sworn to protect and serve. This touching short film illustrates this reality of loneliness, adverse reactions through vices, yet resignation of actions which, unfortunately, can be beyond even a male's control.
