With the exception of country singing legend George Hamilton IV I doubt that
you've heard of anyone from this film. That's probably to their credit because
this film boasts some of the worst acting and directing ever done even for a
Christian film.
The plot is simply that a new pastor is putting together a Christian rock group for Sunday services to appeal to the young and oddly enough Hamilton who is the big CEO with the church board is against it. Do I have to say how it comes out.
To cover up the bad acting a lot of Christian rock is heard as members are added to the band from a variety of sources even literally off the street. If your taste runs to that then Praise Band is your film.
This one will stay exhibited in church basements and on CBN.
