Tales of Morrissa (2017–2018)
3/10
I thought the Title Said, "Morrissey"

Warning: Spoilers
...no...not really. I thought about writing a review for each episode but the first episode is about 26 minutes long but all the rest are just 11-16 minutes long. Not really worth it. So, apparently the story is about three sisters who find out they are aliens from another planet called "Morrissa" and their Uncle Rex brought them to Earth through a portal that links the two planets and they are in hiding because the three girls can do magical stuff and those who, apparently, rule Morrissa outlawed magic but they need these three girls' magic powers (that they deem unethical or ungodly or whatever) to find a lost artifact. The girls don't find out they can do magic until their Uncle disappears and another person from Morrissa shows up to help/protect them. Apparently, as that character states: she's a security guard of some kind (Guardian, I think.)

The downfall of this series are two things: writing and acting. The acting is horrible. There's really only one better-than-the-rest actors; one of the sisters, but I don't care enough to remember her name, that's how bad this show is. I gave the first episode 4/10 (mainly for effort) and the rating just fell lower after that. The story held my interest but the acting, writing, and explaining and then the compaction of the story from one breadth (not breath) to the next just made this extremely poorly executed. Literally the best thing about this show are the opening credits. All the money they had must have gone to those credits and/or the varying special effects after the girls find out they have magical powers. It, apparently, didn't go to anything else. Though it ended in a cliffhanger, I doubt there will be a season two but then again...what do I know?
