This was a tough miniseries to watch, but it left me with nothing but admiration for the brave people who have spoken out against the institutionalised child abuse within the Catholic Church.
It was both horrifying and fascinating to learn about how where the rest of the world has already made great strides with admissions of responsibility, compensation, etc., in Spain they still seem to be clinging for dear life to their denials. It was especially disturbing seeing perpetrators still out in society, going about their lives.
My heart broke for the survivors who were interviewed as part of this series. But my admiration for them is great.
