It's the Jungle Book but not really. There's a Sam and Diane from Cheers dynamic. Throw some planes in the mix. It's alot to process. As a kid this was easily acceptable and enjoyable, as an adult not so much. If you like it then great but people calling this a masterpiece need to take a second look. Oddly enough a large portion of the people that praise it are probably those people that criticize a remake for deviating one iota from the source material.
