Yes the story is too fast. There's no build up about Sam (Andrea) and Jake's (Seth) relationship. I think the writer just pushed the 'kilig' ending just to have a 'kilig' ending for the fans. And I have to admit it, I felt the kilig vibe.
And I have to be honest the story is too typical, very predictable. Every twist in the story is very predictable. But this is not a bad movie, it is just the story is so overdone.
Andrea's acting here is great, and it makes sense because she's been acting for a long time. While Seth's acting here is not enough for me especially to his emotional scenes. Regardless, SethDrea's chemistry is undeniably good.
