Geeky TV game show addict Howard Mitla (nicely played to the nerdy hilt by Tom Noonan) gets driven to the brink of total insanity by an incredibly long and bony sentient finger that's poking out of his bathroom sink.
Director Kenny Myers keeps the enjoyably loopy story moving along at a snappy pace, maintains a pleasing offbeat tone throughout, and milks a good deal of belly laughs from the amusing sense of quirky dark humor. Noon nails the obsessive nature of his weirdo character while Alice Playten lends sound support as Howard's doting wife Violet. Moreover, there's a surprisingly generous amount of blood and gore as well. A total wacky hoot.
